Je n’ai jamais cru qu’on pouvait cerner quelqu’un en 30 secondes. On peut s’en fait une idée préconçue oui, mais pas le cerner dans tout son intérieur. Cela prend du temps pour connaître quelqu’un, surtout si cette personne ne se connaît pas elle-même ou que nous même n’avons pas trop travaillé sur nous 😉 Voici donc quelques principes pour apprendre à cerner, en s’amusant, ceux qui font partie de votre paysage ! 1- Observer son ouverture
L’ouverture est à la base de tout échange et elle passe par la connaissance de ce qui n’est pas soi. S’ouvrir à l’autre, c’est lui poser des questions, s’intéresser à sa vie, être curieux quand il commence à s’ouvrir. Inversement, c’est aussi s’ouvrir soi-même en partageant ce que l’on vit, sans juger ou filtrer ce que l’on a envie de dire à l’autre. C’est quand il y a cette ouverture de part et d’autre que l’échange peut se faire.
2- Observer ce qu’il fait
Ici bas, tout le monde se sent bien correct, conscient, éveillé, à l’écoute, mature… et le problème, ce sont les autres ! Eh bien oui, c’est vrai ! Ceux qui disent cela sont sincères, mais ils sont sincèrement inconscients. Sans recul sur eux, et avec des mécanismes de défense qui les amènent à interpréter (filtrer) la réalité pour la rendre convenable à leurs yeux, ils se constituent un monde qui les amène à se trouver parfaits. Pour apprendre à connaître une personne, l’accent doit alors être mis sur ce qu’ils font plutôt que sur ce qu’ils disent. S’il y a des distorsions, cela montre alors les faiblesses de la personne. En soi, une faiblesse, c’est bien charmant ; sans faiblesses, sans défauts, nous n’aurions aucun charme ! Ce qui est plus grave, c’est quand ladite personne n’est pas ouverte à entendre qu’il y a un décalage entre ses bottines et ses babines. Elle est alors fermée d’esprit et a un sacré travail à faire sur elle !
3- Apprendre à connaître ses amis
Nos amis sont nos miroirs. Ainsi, quand vous découvrez une personne, apprendre à «sentir» son entourage offre une foule de réponses sur qui est elle. L’idée ici n’est pas de juger ses amis, mais de voir la relation qu’il peut y avoir, car cette relation peut nous indiquer le type de rapport que cette personne entretient généralement.
4- Découvrez si cette personne est capable de douter
Une personne trop rigide est une personne qui ne se remettra pas en question et qui va camper sur ses positions. Dans la continuité du point #1, ce sera donc une personne qui ne sera pas capable d’ouverture à l’autre et d’agilité dans les relations. Commencer ou continuer une relation avec ce genre de personnes nous expose à devoir constamment nous justifier, convaincre ou nous taire pour ne pas dépenser trop d’énergie à essayer de faire juste entendre notre vision «différente» des choses.
Même si la première impression peut ou non être la bonne, il y a mille autres occasions pour connaître une personne. Et comme le dit le Petit Prince, on ne voit bien qu’avec le cœur, l’essentiel est invisible pour les yeux. Alors, prenez le temps de bien sentir, ressentir, cette personne et vous aurez surprenamment plus de réponses que vous ne le pensez ! Ceci étant dit, on n’est pas ici dans un décompte comptable des qualités, défauts, avantages et inconvénient. Chaque rencontre, c’est aussi une expérience à vivre et une ouverture vers plus de connaissance de soi. Alors, rencontrer du monde, différents de nos conceptions habituelles de l’amitié peut nous ouvrir à un nouveau pan de nous-même tout à fait inédit. C’était ma conclusion 😉
